POLICE STEAL BIBLES FROM CHURCH VIGAL
RIGHTS TO PROTEST AFRONTED
To demonstrate their desire to comply with the city and yet at the same time plea for justice and that their guaranteed charter rights would be restored, Street Church Ministries has been at the steps of the old City Hall three days a week since the beginning of May, operating without amplification.
On Tuesday this week twenty officers including bi-law officers and police officers stormed a peaceful demonstration siezing holocaust pictures and Christian materials including Bibles.
"Our desire is to be in the park serving the needs of the poor and yet be able to operate with our rights to amplified sound restored. We have been holding this protest at the steps of City Hall because our rights were stripped from us and again the police and the bi-law officers continue to harass us depite the fact that no amplication is used, proving that all along this is about killing the message of Christ and not about sound at all."
Street Church Ministries will be posting footage of the Police siezing the Bibles and other materials on their website early this week.
