Calgary street preacher
Calgary street preacher Art Pawlowski and five of his followers were arrested yesterday after holding a prayer circle in the atrium of City Hall.
It was the third organized prayer event by the group this fall. But this time after being escorted off the premises by police, they returned, trying to speak to Mayor Naheed Nenshi, which lead to their arrest for trespassing. Pawlowski is trying to hold Nenshi to his declaration that City Hall is like "Calgary’s living room" by using the building as a public space.
