We had an unannounced visit from…

During our last worship and prayer meeting at City Hall God blessed us with a wonderful surprise. We had an unannounced visit from Rod Taylor, the Deputy Leader from the Christian Heritage Party of Canada.

For those that do not know, this is a Federal Party that has an absolutely amazing platform called ‘Better Solutions’ that deal with Economy, Immigration and Refugees, Life & Family, Healthcare, Environment, Justice & Defending Your Rights.

This is one of their quotes: “Canada’s cultural and legal heritage are rooted in the Christian worldview which has provided freedom of speech and religion for all people. Increasingly, our governments have violated the ‘separation of church and state’, infringing on these guaranteed Charter rights. The Christian Heritage Party of Canada will protect Canadians’ Charter rights and properly respect the separation of church and state.”

It’s good to know that in this country we still have, in the political arena, strong advocates for the Law and Righteousness of God. Remember that we have to pray for those in politics that are trying to make a difference for our present good and for future generations. Believe me, it is not easy to be surrounded by compromise and still stay steadfast and true to the holiness of God.

Please remember that God encourages us to pray for those in power and authority because in the end of the day we all want Godly leaders that will bless us and not curse us.

Rod Taylor addressed the people that were gathered, reminding all of us who is really in power, which is not man but God, encouraging us from the scripture verse in Joshua 1:3 where God states “I will give you every place where you set your foot,…”. Rod finished his speech with a powerful exultation and a blessing.

Something else happened this day, a businessman named Dan Gugins took our ‘ God Lord Jesus Christ The Only Way To Heaven’ flag that has a crown on it, he then struck the ground with it’s pole and proclaimed the truth of this banner as he spoke victory over the city. These symbolic moments are very powerful as they bring forward faith, and we know that faith triggers God’s actions.

We all had a wonderful time together, people were dancing and worshiping, and afterwards everyone had a sense in their hearts of a coming revival, and for a long over due break through.

2012 will be the year of receiving all of the promises from the living God, we know they are coming!

Join us next Tuesday at noon at Calgary’s City Hall!

Deuteronomy 11:24 “Every place where you set your foot will be yours”.

Jeremiah 50 “Announce and proclaim among the nations, lift up a banner and proclaim it; keep nothing back,…” 51:27 “Lift up a banner in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations!…”

Isaiah 13:2 “Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles.”

Psalm 60:4 “But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow.”
