Church in the Time of Crisis!
—Times are unsettling for many as this COVID-19 pandemic is only continuing to take place and countless families are faced with great uncertainty and fear. Regardless what the government may say, we firmly believe that the Church would only be failing if it wasn’t at the frontlines and fully engaging in uplifting, caring and serving those that are currently in need and desperately hurting.
Street Church has extended its services and in responding to God’s calling is now also having an additional outreach program, love in faithful action that demonstrates compassion and mercy for those in the community.
Today several teams dispersed throughout the city of Calgary reaching out to minister and bring hope to anyone in need. Several truck loads of food hampers were given away to many families in crisis and the appreciation and gratitude that we received was both humbling and overwhelming.
We prayed for many and for many others, our act of kindness were answered prayers! If not us then who? If not now, then when? Being the hands and feet of Christ is much more than folding knees and praying for Him to bless them.
