For the first time ever, representatives of the Polish Catholic Church have taken part in the March for Jesus in Poland. Its main goal is the promotion of positive Christian values. It also encourages people to lead a moral life dedicated to God. Five representatives of different faiths had the chance to speak to participants, which included the Nigerian ambassador to Poland Samuel Wodi Jimba.
The procession came to an end with a speech by Artur Pawlowski, a pastor in Canada and the brains behind the March for Jesus in Poland. As expected, Franklin Graham, son of the famous evangelist Billy Graham, also took part in the festival. He is president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief organisation.
