Burn at Princes Island Park 2013

It was so awesome to see more and more people coming to our yearly event at Princes Island Park. Six hours of non stop praise and worship, prayer and dedication of our city and our country to the living God. We had six worship bands lifting their voices to the God of mercy and grace, they did a fabulous job. There were also five teams going into park to share the gospel/hand out bibles/pray with people. For the kids there was two bouncy houses, two face painting artists they had a blast. Everyone who came received something for the spirit and something for the body. We had home made sandwiches , snacks, fruit salad with whip cream, drinks, pastry’s and in the end many grateful people that said they had not eat yet today, God is so good, he takes care of all of our needs.

Thanks to Centre Street Church we had thousands of bottles of water with scripture on it from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Truly the church in Calgary come together to worship the King of kings! It was glorious! The best way to describe the day is in the words from Joe Sinanan “We prayed for good weather and we got it! We prayed for many to come and they came! We prayed for many to hear the gospel and they heard it! Lord You are faithful…always!” We say Amen to that, God is so faithful may the next year be even greater for the glory of the living saviour Jesus Christ.

Thank you for coming and thank you for serving. We know that our God was well pleased, He loves when people come and worship him in truth and in spirit.
