A Calgary judge has granted an injunction against a street preacher from using amplifiers to spread his message anywhere in the city.
In front of city hall, Art Pawlowski reads the bible as he does every Wednesday.
Passersby largely ignoring the street preacher unless grabbing lunch from the Sausage Party cart.
Pawlowski was unaware that Justice Bonnie Rawlins has granted an injunction against him for using amplified sound.
Compromises argued for by the preacher’s lawyer to allow the speakers if the volume was turned down were turned down by the judge because she says Street Church Ministries has shown an inability to limit themselves.
The injunction is in place until a full hearing into the city’s case against Pawlowski’s preaching is heard.
