City Official’s Wickedness Reaches New Level!

The City of Calgary is now not going to wait for the judges decision on the injunction against Street Church.  City officials are going ahead with attempting to get a contempt of order judgement right away.  If they succeed they will no doubt attempt to send some Street Church volunteers to jail.  This Thursday, May 1, Street Church’s lawyers will again go to court attempting to receive some kind of justice and protection for our so called Charter protected rights.  These actions of Calgary’s city officials go far beyond reasonable, and demonstrate a deep wickedness and hatred for both Street Church and Calgary’s poor population.  We ask that you pray for our ministry, and for God’s mercy upon City officials.  Our deepest desire is to continue to provide for the needs of the poor as we bring them the message of the gospel, without harassment from the City.
